Would Paulson be better at ruining our nation’s economy than Bush–if he was elected President instead?

Sources indicate that the 2.5 page piece of legislation designed to bail out Wall Street gives Paulson UNCHECKED powers as Treasury Secretary.

Whose idea was it to do that?

It does come to conflict with Bush’s earlier 2000 statement when he said: “Being a dictator would be easier–so long as I was the dictator.”

This just bears out my earlier statement that Bush is nothing but a puppet with strings–and both Cheney and now Paulson will be pulling them even more:

“Dance Bushie–DANCE!”

Hello, Paulson and Bernanke were running the government in effect last week when everyone was frozen with terror that the whole system was about to freeze up, totter, fall and shatter to bits. Shows how much these guys really know what is going on-Phd from Princeton notwithstanding.
Paulson will run the economy to bail out his buddies and to cover their bad debts all over the world. He will NOT help the little person that is
getting screwed so just pray to whatever gods you believe might intervene in this mess that there is not a run on two major banks at the same time in this country and that yours is not one of them.
